Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of End of Life Care
This qualification aims to develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of how to work in end of life care. The course covers the support needed to manage pain and discomfort, how dementia impacts on end of life care, the role of the care worker in time of death and the loss and grief process.
Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Autism
The course includes information on the current legislative framework relating to individuals with autism and how theories have developed over time. It also includes how to support and manage transitions for individuals with autism, the range of therapeutic interventions and support available for individuals with autism and co-occurring conditions.
Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Dementia Care
This qualification aims to assist learners to develop their knowledge and understanding of the principles of caring for those with dementia. It covers areas such as person-centred care, the influence of positive communication method and issues relating to the use of medication. The qualification doesn’t infer competence in the work role, but can be used to support the underpinning knowledge and understanding needed for those working in or towards a dementia care role.

This qualification aims to develop learners’ understanding of autism and the principles of supporting individuals with autism. The course will cover the person-centred approach and influence of positive communication methods, how to support positive behaviour, and how individuals with autism can be supported to live healthy and fulfilled lives. This qualification is designed for learners who wish to develop an understanding of autism and how to support individuals with autism.
Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes
This qualification aims to provide an understanding of the different types of diabetes, how they can occur, and the care and management of diabetes. This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and above. To achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes, learners must successfully demonstrate their achievement of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria of the units as detailed in the qualification specification.
Level 2 Certificate in Nutrition and Health
This qualification aims to increase understanding of the principles of healthy eating and the role of food in maintaining health. The course increases confidence in planning and achieving a healthy diet, provides an understanding of how individuals' dietary requirements can change throughout their life, raises awareness of dietary requirements of particular individuals, and provides a basis for further study and/or career development.
Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Working with Individuals with Learning Difficulties
This qualification aims to give learners knowledge and understanding to work with individuals with learning disabilities or difficulties. They will explore the principles of safeguarding and positive risk-taking and gain awareness of the autistic spectrum. This qualification is designed for learners with an interest in, or who are already working with, people with learning disabilities in a variety of roles.

This qualification aims to raise awareness of mental health and a range of mental health problems. This qualification is designed for anyone looking to develop their understanding of mental health and the problems that can cause ill health.
